Oh So Silly

Trying to get a very active 2 year old to pose perfectly for a picture isn't the easiest of tasks. Even trying something a little fun to coax the child into smiling doesn't always work out either. Hence this wonderful capture. We thought we would turn him upside down to get the sillies out & try to make it fun for him but he got a little too excited & daddy got one right to the chin. My favorite part? Mom is posing for the picture and has no clue ;)

Best face of 2011

I chose this photo over one of my own children because this shows that sometimes the best photos are captured by accident. He was on the move & any photog will know that with a 50mm lens focusing this close while the subject is moving can be very difficult. I was so amazed that I was able to capture something of this quality by accident. So K-man is my choice for best face of 2011.
